The New Year is well on its way and with spring just around the bend, we are excited to share our newest book release!

"Words from My Heart: Inspirational Poems and Journal" is a collection of enlightening and inspirational poems and illustrations, accompanied by blank and lined spaces for the reader’s personal reflection in a creative journal format.

The poems sprinkled throughout share keen observations of nature, bring to light the call of our spirituality, recognize the very human need for meaning and purpose in our lives, and invite the reader to take time to observe and appreciate the beautiful, simple things all around us, particularly those found on an early spring day.

This inspiring poetry is accompanied by lovely hand-illustrated images throughout featuring birds, spring flowers, nature scenes, human connection, and more.

The book offers plenty of lined and blank space to allow the reader’s creativity to flow from the heart and the pen onto the page.

Words from My Heart is a collaborative project written by local Minnesota/Wisconsin author and poet, Rita Deyo and illustrated by Jacqueline Bance. The project came together after Rita and Jacqueline met through a local senior care facility for whom Jacqueline was making handmade cards when COVID hit in 2020.

The two have combined their creativity - Rita’s love of poetry, Jacqueline’s love of art, and their appreciation for nature and personal reflection - in this beautiful inspirational journal they are honored to share with the world.

Words from My Heart is now available in paperback for purchase through Amazon.com.
